This ultra modern Los Angeles, California loft is everything you’d expect from La-La Land – innovative, check; cool, check; contemporary, check; totally beautiful, double-check. Designed by forward-thinking Tighe Architecture, this chic loft was designed as a creative live-work environment occupying one of downtown L.A.’s existing warehouse buildings. There is a peculiarity about the unique design idea that’s hard to describe; a balance, yet a battle is taking place in this 1,400-sq.-ft. space. But as with their design, the architects’ description has hit the nail right on the head. “Two distinct entities are evident in the design,” according to Tighe Architecture.

Eco Home Design by European Architecture Firm
MercuryHouseOne is the modern brainchild of architecture firm Architecture and Vision, which was established by a Swiss and an Italian architect, based in Italy. This futuristic, eco home design takes a distinctly European approach to architecture by incorporating the most important aspects of living – function, aesthetics, entertainment and the environment – and doing so in style! Featuring an organic water-drop shape, this home boasts an exterior shell of Carrara marble which is back-lit by night, emitting a haunting and intriguing glow.
Designed by architects Manuel Bailo Esteve and Rosa Rull Bertran of ADD+ Arquitectura, this rooftop garden house takes the concept of a “green roof” to new heights with this amazing and unusual house plan, topped by a mini-golf course! This playful and contemporary style house is located on a high point in Igualada, Spain. The modern slope house plan cantilevers out over the grassy landscape rolling out beneath the stilt home.
