Muskoka BoatHouse with modern wood construction by Christopher Simmonds Architects
The Muskoka Boathouse is designed by Christopher Simmonds Architects, situated in Muskoka Lakes, Ontario, It’s a rural boat house with seasonal residence. It was build around the small bay near the trees. The first floor is a garage for your boat while the second story is a sleeping quarter. The interior appears to be minimalistic as possible. Most of the house are composed with hybrid post and beam/wood stud frame structure with exposed Douglas Fir roof rafters and decking.
